Culture Marketing Specialist

From November 2017 to November 2018, I worked with Red Bull North America as their Culture Marketing Specialist. I was responsible for developing and executing the local marketing strategy for all New York based cultural properties; Red Bull Music Festival, Red Bull Arts, and Red Bull Music. I was also positioned as the local lead for coordinating third-party sponsorships and programming for New York City and extended markets. This consisted of identifying a robust roster of community/media partners and negotiating product visibility opportunities on behalf of the brand.

My role intersected across various departments and marketing verticals within the business. While there, I negotiated countless third-party community and influencer partnerships, distributing numerous units of product into consumers’ hands. My days would vary, from management/development of our podcast roster consisting of talents such as Desus and Mero to contributing to special projects such as overseeing VIP relations and security logistics for RAMMΣLLZΣΣ: Racing for Thunder. The last special project I completed before leaving was developing and co-producing Red Bull Music Presents: Makaya McCraven’s Universal Beings.
